New park signs going ahead

The Friends’ committee is pleased to confirm that the lovely and long-anticipated new park signs have been signed off by the Council and are now going ahead.

The designs are with the manufactures, who have started production, and we’re anticipating that they will be installed before Christmas.

The signs are a signficant investment by the Friends, using funds raised from the Blythe Hill Festival. They will have a huge impact on the appearance of the fields and a strong sense of local history and pride.
