The Festival

Operations are in full swing for the 2019 Blythe Hill Fields Festival that will be held on Sunday 7th July. The festival is a local community event, attracting about 4000 people, with a great line-up of stalls, performers and musicians coming together for yet another brilliant day out.

You can expect an eclectic mix of music on the main stage; family events on the woodland stage; huge varieties of stalls to browse and fabulous food and drink.

Go putting crazy with some crazy golf near the playground; check out the giant garden games over towards the Brockley view entrance or go and meet Rufus, the famous Wimbledon hawk, opposite the Woodland stage.

Don’t forget in the kids tent you can make wind chimes, paint stones, make badges and have fun with giant bubbles! Pick up your treasure hunt stamp card from here, then hunt down the 10 marked trees around the fields to claim your prize.

There will be cakes for sale in the Friends tent and information about all the hard work the Friends have been up to. Come here to give us your views about park improvements for the coming years and check out the history boards to learn more about the local area. The famous raffle will be drawn at 3:45pm and this year we’ve got over £950 worth of prizes to be won. Check out the prizes here and get hold of some quickly!

Wow, what an action packed day it will be. We can’t wait to see you there!
